The Applied Statistics Group

The Applied Statistics Group, managed by David Cox, provides statistical consulting, mathematical modeling, and operations research support to the U.S. EPA and the Departments of Energy and Housing and Urban Development. The groups' staff includes several Ph.D.s in statistics and mathematics. Areas of technical support include:

Statistical modeling and data analysis

Analysis of spatial data
Perturbation analysis of energy models
Probabilistic modeling
Time Series

The group uses state-of-the-art statistical computational software, including SAS and SPSS.
