The Survey Research Technical Group

The Survey Research Group, managed by Dr. David Cox, provides a complete range of statistical survey and market research capabilities through our in-house, Survey Research Center (SRC) in Arlington, Virginia. The group is capable of telephone and mail surveys for health care clients, government agencies, university researchers, professional associations, and other organizations. QuanTech has conducted targeted surveys of anglers and boat captains/owners, community surveys, physician surveys, customer satisfaction surveys, employee surveys, business and industry surveys, and nationwide random-digit dial surveys.

The SRC has telephone survey interviewing stations operated using custom built, survey-specific Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) software systems. SRC programmers rely on the Statistical Analysis System (SAS) for summary and analysis of survey data and can supply data files in various database formats.

QuanTech's Survey Research Center conducts primarily four types of quantitative research activities: in-persons interviews and focus groups, telephone surveys, mail surveys, and fax surveys. The Survey Research Center staff have extensive experience in all design aspects of these types of surveys, including sample design, questionnaire design, and development of sample management and analyses strategies.

QuanTech has conducted the following types of surveys for its clients:

  • Nationwide and local household RDD surveys;

  • Physician surveys;

  • Surveys of former patients;

  • Employee surveys;

  • Business and industry surveys; and

  • Association membership surveys.
